Camp Legacy
Camp Legacy operates June, July, & August. We provide summer exploration activities filled with fun,
interactive experiences. All Camp Legacy sessions include weekly water fun, special event days, hiking,
sports, and gardening. Camps also include a daily schedule of opening/flag raising ceremony, arts & crafts, camp songs & skits, storytelling, cooking, and more.
Camp Legacy is a small, well-regarded, popular camp with a limited number of registration slots. Registration begins mid-March.
CAMP Session #1 May 31-June 3 (no camp Monday, May 30) and/or June 6-10 Camping & the Great
Outdoors~Come explore the fun of camping by building tents, making S’mores, singing camp songs,
hiking, and enjoying what the great outdoors has to offer us.
CAMP SESSION #2 June 13-17 and/or June 20-24 Busy Builders Camp~Get those hard hats and tool belts ready!
We will be learning about the world of construction and teamwork through group planning, drawing, and
building.
CAMP SESSION #3 June 27-July 1 (note-camp session #3 is ONE week; fees are adjusted) Olympics Camp
~Who says the summer Olympic games only come every other year? Bring us your enthusiastic athletes
ready to participate in FUN Olympic events.
CAMP SESSION #4 July 11-15 (note-camp session #4 is ONE week; fees are adjusted) Creepy Crawlers Camp~
Not for the faint at heart! Come learn about all creatures in our world that wiggle and squirm! We will be
interacting with live animals & insects!
CAMP SESSION #5 July 18-22 and/or July 25-29 Magic & Mystery Camp~Abracadabra, Alakazam! Learn amazing tricks to entertain family and friends! Be a lead detective in solving a mystery!
CAMP SESSION #6 August 1-5 and/or August 8-12 Nature & Science Camp~ Science can be interactive, fun, and exciting when it’s experienced at Camp Legacy. We will be exploring our world through observations, experiments, and just plain gettin’ dirty!
CAMP SESSION #7 August 15-19 and/or August 22-26 Beach & Ocean~ We’re bringing the beach to Legacy Primary School! It’s fun in the sun, while learning about fish, whales, and other creatures that live in and around the sea.
Camp Sessions
Camp Legacy preschool camps are for children ages 3-6, not completed kindergarten yet. Campers participate in weekly in-house field trips, including water days, presentations, and other hands-on fun. Much of our time is spent outdoors experiencing delightful summer days.
Dedicated, well-trained camp counselors supervise our small camp groups. Each age group maintains adult to child state mandated ratios.
Preschool age campers enjoy daily opening/flag raising ceremony, arts & crafts, camp songs & skits, storytelling, cooking, and more.
Camp Legacy provides weekly special event days such as tie dying, rocket building, treasure hunts, karaoke, dance off, and sports.
Preschool camps offered are mini, half, or full day. Before/after camp care is available on site. Camps run Monday thru Friday during seven different camp sessions. Please see registration for further details.
Preschool Camps
Camp Legacy school age camps are for children grades K-6th. Campers participate in two weekly field trips, including a trip to the Elkhorn Swimming Pool and other fun outings such as fishing, bowling, hiking, etc. Much of our time is spent outdoors experiencing delightful summer days.

School age campers enjoy daily opening/flag raising ceremony, arts & crafts, camp songs & skits, storytelling, cooking, and more.

Before/After Camp Care
Before and after camp care is offered on site. Before camp care opens at 7:00am and operates until camp starts at 9:30am. After camp care begins when the camp day ends at 3:30pm and runs until 6pm. For more information, please call (402)884-2242.
